The full circle thoroughbred experience

Meet Passing Affair

Meet ‘Peggy”, a 6 year old Passing Glance mare who will running in point to points for the club this season. She came to us late for breaking, through no fault of her own. We ended up buying her and she will run in the club colours – a bit of an experiment for everyone to follow! She definitely loves to jump and despite her small stature we think she’s got potential – she’s tough and we call her the Pocket Rocket. She is out of a mare who came 2nd in a bumper at Chepstow for Pete Pritchard called Astral Affair, so we have named her Passing Affair.

The pic above was early days in the school with Amber Jackson-Fenell. She did plenty of early education and pre-training with us and is now being trained by Justin Brotherton over near Broadway. Justin is very happy with her progress, he has great facilities where he is for p2p training.

It will be interesting to see how she gets on, we aim for a run early December. A quick clip of her schooling and on the gallops at Martin Keighley’s below. She is nearside jumping and second up on gallops (the horse flying in front was rated in 120s).
